Viewing storytelling as a blend of reality and possibility, he honed his craft by studying film and television with a focus on cinematography and directing. Starting as a 2nd AC, he worked his way up to 1st AC, camera operator, and ultimately Director of Photography. His journey has been shaped by valuable lessons from industry professionals, instilling a strong work ethic and deep respect for his craft. With a diverse portfolio spanning commercials, documentaries, drama series, short films, and feature films, Phumlani embraces challenges, learning from every experience.
