The Crew Collective is a professional database of qualified and diverse South African creatives and crew working in the film and television industry.

Our mission is to help professionals from underrepresented communities graduate to the next level of their careers by connecting them and their skills with prominent studios and streamers around the world.

The driving aim behind everything we do is to expand diversity in the film and television industry for the long haul. This is of particular importance at this time when more and more stories are becoming inclusive; we believe it’s vital that the people responsible for making those stories reflect that inclusivity too.

We have ensured that our database boasts a strong selection of industry professionals from overlooked and often underfunded communities. These are African players who are on the cusp of breaking out onto the world stage and showcasing the immense talent our continent has to offer.

Every member of The Crew Collective is fully vetted and verified. They each have a unique bio, a CV/resume, work experience, a photograph, references and video reels where applicable. Our directory caters to a wide selection of crew roles in both the creative and technical fields of production.
